AmLaw 50 firm is seeking a mid- to senior-level associate with 4-6 years of relevant experience to join their Taxation Practice Group in Tampa, FL. Qualified candidates must have experience in tax matters related to fund formation, investment management transactions and partnership taxation. Experience in mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures, representing buyers and sellers in transaction tax matters, tax counseling experience for choice of entity, LLC agreement and tax-side transactional work preferred. Strong writing, communication, and interpersonal skills are required. Firm is seeking a well-rounded, dynamic, highly motivated associate with exceptional analytical, drafting, and project management skills, who is willing to be flexible with assignments, has the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines, and has a strong desire to contribute to a team. To be considered, a candidate must hold a JD from an ABA-approved law school, with a background in tax, such as an LLM or concentration of classes in income tax-related subjects.
