Well respected Law Firm in Fort Lauderdale is hiring a Legal Word Processor 

Primary Responsibilities

  • Transcribe and prepare a wide range of documents from source materials including handwritten drafts and audio recordings.

  • Review and refine content to ensure correct grammar, spelling, and punctuation.

  • Utilize word processing tools to draft, modify, and print formal documents.

  • Format content consistently using fonts, styles, headers, and other design elements.

  • Build and update document templates, tables, and other structural features as needed.

Qualifications and Competencies

  • A minimum of three years' experience in a word processing role, preferably in a legal environment.

  • Knowledgeable in version control and redlining, with experience using DocsPDF.

  • Strong editing and proofreading abilities, especially for legal documentation.
